Sarahfide at Crafts in the Village — St. Simons Island, Georgia
Sarahfide brings hand-painted wood bead jewelry to St. Simons Island, Georgia at the Crafts in the Village market — where you can shop one-of-a-kind earrings, necklaces, and bracelets, then stroll to the pier, explore the village, and make a whole day of island charm.
Find Me at the Market
Crafts in the Village is one of my favorite markets to set up at. There's something about the energy of St. Simons Island — the live oaks, the salty air, the people who come through and just *get it* when they pick up a pair of hand-painted earrings and feel how light they are. If you're looking for lightweight, hypoallergenic jewelry that's truly one-of-a-kind, come find me here.
The Bridge — The drive over is part of the experience. The marshes, the water — it sets the tone before you even arrive.
The Marina — As you come onto the island, the marina is one of the first things you'll see. It's gorgeous.
The Lighthouse — A St. Simons must-see. Climb to the top for a panoramic view of the island.
Make a Day of It
The beauty of shopping Crafts in the Village is that St. Simons has so much to enjoy before and after you visit. The village itself is walkable and full of charm. Here are some of my favorite spots nearby:
The Pier — Just steps from the market. Walk out, take in the view, and breathe. It's one of those spots that makes you slow down.
The Park — The live oaks here create the most incredible canopy. It's peaceful and beautiful, and a perfect place to sit after shopping.
The Market — This is where you'll find me. Come say hi, try something on. I bring a rotating selection of my hand-painted wood bead earrings, necklaces, and bracelets to each market. Also… There are plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance (literally around the corner), so you can easily turn your market visit into a full island day.
