Spreading joy, one bead at a time.

This statement has been Sarahfide's slogan since the beginning of our journey. At first, this catchphrase came from the word that our Sarahfide era was born upon: Joy. But as time has passed and our business has grown like curious vines, Joy has taken on a fresh, beautiful definition.

This past Saturday, Sarahfide was given the opportunity to do a live with the Discount Divas Boutique. It was two hours of fun and color, and of course, beautiful handmade jewelry.

Sneak peek into our lives: Sarah and Diva Lauren were selling the jewelry, John was the beast behind the scenes tracking inventory, and us girls were the silent supporters at a friend's house. Our job was to collect every electronic device and get them off the property to conserve wifi, but that didn't stop us from cheering on Mom.

Now, several days later, we are just finishing up the order. It is no joke when we say it is a family ordeal. You walk into the studio, and Sarah is painting beads or tying up Veras and bracelets. John is at his desk doing metalwork with help from Aleiah from the dining room table. Then Abella and I package in the corner of the studio. All while we cycle through Steven Spielberg and Marvel in the background.

There are lots of laughs, many times of checking over each other's shoulders, and countless moments of love. Small encouragements and tight hugs erase the tension of concentration, like a band-aid.

That's what the Joy is all about. Six years ago, as a family, we were in a low place, trying to build back our roots. With time came beauty, and with growth came radiance. Even though it was a bumpy ride and nowhere near perfect, we, as a family and a business, have found something we want to share. Bravery in the scary times, trust when it gets hard, and joy even when there seems to be no hope. So Sarahfide will keep spreading joy, one bead at a time.
