Water and Your Jewelry

Your Sarahfide jewelry is safe to wear while washing your hands. Quick, everyday contact with water will not hurt your pieces. However, do not wear your jewelry in the shower, pool, hot tub, or ocean. Prolonged water exposure can compromise the protective coating on your beads over time. If your jewelry does get wet beyond hand washing, simply pat it dry with a soft cloth right away.

Beauty Products and Sunscreen

Apply perfume, hairspray, lotion, and sunscreen before putting on your jewelry — not after. These products contain chemicals that can break down the finish on your beads, causing dullness or damage. Sunscreen is especially important to watch out for. Once your products are dry and absorbed, you're good to go.
